Description
We currently have a vacancy for the position of Director, Commercial & Farm Insurance in our Windsor Head Office.
As Director, Commercial & Farm Insurance the incumbent is responsible for leading the Commercial and Farm team within All-Risks Insurance. Using the strategic plan as a template, you will work collaboratively with branch, divisional, and executive leadership to provide guidance and ensure operational performance measures are set and executed.
In this role, the incumbent will lead the implementation of corporate programs focused on growth and innovation, provide guidance and mentorship to developing brokers, and develop the internal commercial and farm programs within the organization.
A Day in the Life
- Establishing commercial and farm insurance expectations within the All-Risks Insurance branch network and head office.
- Implementing strategies to meet commercial and farm goals through mentorship, coaching, and branch development.
- Managing performance goals and results including the annual KPI for the department and each employee.
- Overseeing and supporting product launches.
- Overseeing the commercial compliance program.
- Collaborating with the All-Risks Insurance executive team on developing short- and long-term growth strategies and goals.
- Establishing and growing carrier relationships.
- Participating in the national growth of All-Risks Insurance Brokers branches.
- Participating in brokerage mergers and acquisitions.
- Developing and executing a national commercial and farm insurance training program.
- Developing and executing a national commercial and farm risk man

- Proficiency developing and executing national insurance programs, policies, and processes.
- Proficiency using Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong user and teaching knowledge of SIGXP and EPIC Broker Management Systems (BMS).
- Valid driving license.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ commercial and farm insurance experience including underwriting, sales, and coaching within brokerage and direct insurance companies.
- CIP, CRM, and/or CAIB is considered an asset.
- RIBO License in good standing is required.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
